Stars descend on Volkswagen’s Al Nabooda showroom
Dubai, UAE 31 January 2012 – Volkswagen, the official car partner for the UAE FA, invited all soccer fans to meet the stars of the national football team at the Al Nabooda Automobiles Showroom, and to cheer on the players before their friendly match with Uzbekistan, set to take place on 29th Jan 2012.
All kinds of soccer fans attended this event, Emiratis, expatriates and those fond of the UAE national team. Many had the opportunity to meet their favorite players, receive signed jerseys, balls and posters. On this occasion, Thierry Seys, General Manager of Al Nabooda announced: “Volkswagen and Al Nabooda are proud sponsors of the UAE FA national football team. Both cars and football evoke a passion and following from fans, and this is true for both Volkswagen and the UAE FA, and we were delighted to host the team at the Al Nabooda showroom. We support the talented players and look forward to working closely with the UAE FA team.”
The talented player Ismael Matar commented: “We highly appreciate this initiative from Volkswagen. Volkswagen Middle East announces “Think Blue”, the car manufacturer’s environmentally conscious campaign, shortly to be launched in the Middle East. “Think Blue” embodies Volkswagen’s goal of creating environmentally friendly products and solutions, encouraging the public to be more eco-conscious and contribute to a sustainable future. “Think Blue” is a concept that encourages being more responsible on the road, and more environmentally conscious in everyday life.
